HOW TO USE THE NAME INDEX: Scroll through it to find a name that interests you -- the birth and death dates where known are given next to each name and married women are listed under their maiden names only. Clicking on a name will take you either to the one place in the genealogy report where the name occurs, or to the primary entry on, say, someone who grew up married and had children. In the genealogy report their name will appear both in their parents' entry and in their own entry but the index will only have the reference to their own entry. After what you want in the report, use your browser's back arrow to take you back to the name index.
We're sorry that at this time the software we use doesn't permit us to have a Master Name index. We could create one, of course, but as soon as new information is added to even one of the lineages, the Master index would be out of date and it would require a lot of manual editing to fix. The individual indexes here are updated automatically every time new information is added.
HOW TO NAVIGATE THE GENEALOGY REPORTS: Whether you got to it directly, or from the name index, you can scroll up and down in the report as much as you like. Clicking on any name that is highlighted in a different color will take you to that name's main entry. You can move to that person's entry as a child by clicking on the left-most colored name in the direct ancestry line that is shown in parentheses next to the persons's name. You can move to the grandparent by clicking on the next to the left-most name, etc.
Clicking on colored numbers will take you to the corresponding endnote citation. When you're done reading the endnote simply click on the endnote number again or use your browser's back arrow to return you to the genealogy report.
