2. Rev. Samuel² Willard (Simon¹); born 31 January 1639/40 at Concord, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts;⁹^,¹⁰ married Abigail Sherman, daughter of Rev. John Sherman and Mary Launce, 8 August 1664 Abigail was "of Watertown," Middlesex Co., Massachusetts;¹¹^,¹² married Eunice Tyng, daughter of Edward Tyng and Mary (--?--), as his second wife, 29 July 1679;¹¹^,¹²^,¹³ died 12 September 1707 at Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 67.¹⁴

Abigail Sherman was born on 3 February 1647 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹² She died before 1679.¹²

The six known children of Rev. Samuel² Willard and Abigail Sherman all born Groton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, were as follows:

+ 3. i. Abigail³ Willard, born 5 July 1665; married Rev. Benjamin Estabrook; married Rev. Samuel Treat.
4. ii. Samuel Willard; born 25 January 1667/68;¹⁴ died in infancy or early youth.¹⁵^,¹⁴
+ 5. iii. Mary Willard, born 10 October 1669; Marr Int David Melville.
+ 6. iv. Major John Willard, born 8 September 1673; married Frances Sherburne.
7. v. Elizabeth Willard; born either 27 December 1674 or 1675;¹⁶^,¹⁷ died between 3 March 1722 and 9 April 1722.¹⁶
+ 8. vi. Simon Willard, born 6 December 1676; married Elizabeth Alden.

Eunice Tyng was born on 8 March 1655 at Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.¹² She died on 14 January 1720 at Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 64.¹¹^,¹²

The 12 known children of Rev. Samuel² Willard and Eunice Tyng all born Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, were as follows:

12. iv. Richard Willard; born May 1684;¹⁹ died 28 June 1697 at age 13 by drowning.¹⁹
13. v. William Willard; born February 1685/86;¹⁷ died circa 1717.¹⁷
14. vi. Margaret Willard; born 3 December 1687;¹⁷ married Capt. Thomas Child 13 June 1715;¹⁷ died 10 April 1720 at age 32.¹⁷
15. vii. Edward Willard; born September 1689;¹⁷ died young.¹⁷
16. viii. Hannah Willard; born December 1690;¹⁷ married Judge William Little 19 June 1712;¹⁷ died 29 March 1715 at age 24.¹⁷
17. ix. Sarah Willard; born February 1693/94;¹⁷ died 27 July 1694.¹⁷
18. x. Eunice Willard; born 16 June 1695;¹⁷ died 26 July 1751 at age 56.¹⁷
19. xi. Sarah Willard; born 10 June 1697;¹⁷ died 23 July 1697.¹⁷
20. xii. Richard Willard; born September 1699;¹⁷ died before August 1717 ("he was not living in August, 1717").²⁰^,¹⁷
