From the Genealogy Reports Main Page you'll be able to examine the different descendant lines of George, Margery and Major Simon Willard that have been uploaded. Also, data on the ancestors of these three immigrants is uploaded. The primary source for the information here is the 1858 Willard Memoir, the 1915 Willard Genealogy, plus data that has been shared with the Willard Family Association of America, Inc., (known familiarly as the WFA), by folks over the years, plus other miscellaneous sources. It's all referenced and cited, so you'll be able to tell which bits came from where. All of the WFA data won't get uploaded at once, as this is an ongoing project, so plan to periodically check this site if you don't find your Willard the first time you look here.
It has become common among members of the WFA to refer to different descendants of the three immigrants as belonging to "the George-1 line", or the "Margery-1 line", or (through sub-dividing the children of Simon-1), as "the Jonathan-2 line" etc. This same categorization is followed here, with the lineages broken up so, for example, only Jonathan-2 descendants will be included in the genealogy report named such, for each lineage shown. All the reports on one of Simon's children will begin with Simon. This is so the Generation numbers will match those found in the printed Willard genealogy books. And the identification numbers assigned to many of the men in those books are found here, too. This is to make it easier to look people up in the printed books.
